Medison charges cards - but still no delivery
By Sofia Lundgren |
Now Medison have started to charge those who have ordered a $150 laptop. Lennart Aspenryd confirms that money was drawn from his account on August 28. So far he has not seen any computer, but he is optimistic and is hoping it shows up soon.

Finally in the works? Perhaps the first Medison computers have been shipped to waiting customers.
Lennart Aspenryd, retired, ordered a $150 computer from Medison on July 24 this year.
– I ordered it only because of the price. I thought it could be useful with a backup computer. I don't think it is unrealistic with a computer for this small amount of money. I might be optimistic and naive.
Lennart Aspenryd did not know the company Medison and trusted he would receive his computer. The first delivery date for the $150 computer was set to August 14. The shipments were, for unclear reasons, delayed two weeks until August 31. Now, a week later, nobody that "PC for Alla" have been in contact with have received a computer. The information from Medison has been unspeakably poor. If one wants to contact the company one has to mail. The support department and phone lines are "temporarily closed". The distributor EMEA Services left negotiatins with Medison already in the beginning of August and since then Medision have not published a new supplier. Despite all the problems Lennart Aspenryd still trusts Medison.
– I don't think there's anything fishy going on. First they reserved the money on my account and on August 25 I got a mail from the e-commerce vendor 2CO where it said that the order had been shipped.
In the confirmation was neither information on shipping method nor an estimated delivery date. Lennart Aspenryd is not worried.
– The money was taken from my account on August 28. One should have a positive outlook in life and a part of it is that one can get scammed sometimes. I trust them and believes that the computer will show up eventually.
Lennart Aspenryd promises to return when and if the $150 computer shows up.
"PC for Alla" have contacted Medison's CEO Valdi Ivancic for comment, without success.
